Saturday, May 17 New Perspectives Film Series—The Armstrong Lie, 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. Academy Award-winning filmmaker Alex Gibney had unfettered access to film Lance Armstrong’s comeback after his retirement to win an 8th unprecedented Tour de France.  By 2013 when Armstrong admitted to using performance-enhancing drugs, Gibney was chronicling the collapse of one of the greatest sports legends of our time. Suggested donation of $5. Refreshments served. The New Perspectives Documentary series is programmed and moderated by filmmaker, Megan Smith-Harris. A Q&A will follow the film.
