Soul Suppers Spiritual Dinners Hosts Head of Girls' Committee for United Nations

On Tuesday evening, November 5 at 7 p.m. at Marly's Restaurant in Wilton Center, the spiritual discussion group "Soul Suppers" will host Beth Adamson.   Beth Adamson is the Co-Chair of the Working Group on Girls, representing Anglican Women’s Empowerment and the Anglican Consultative Council.  She will discuss her advocacy for girls at the United Nations.  Her committee encourages girls to speak for themselves and supports their efforts through social media.   Dinner will include appetizers, a choice of entrée, and coffee or tea.  Cost is $28: bring a check or cash.    Please RVSP to Laurie Forcade at lforcade@optonline.net      Soul Suppers has met for several years on a variety of spiritual and social justice issues.  Past topics have included meditation, human trafficking, the death penalty, the Byzantine Catholic Church, Female Soldiers/Forgotten Heroes home for women veterans in Bridgeport,  and Buddhism and Christianity.   Soul Suppers are open to the public and all  are welcome.
