St. Matthew's Seniors' Thursday Lunch Club

Following the Seniors' luncheon at Noon on October 24, Zimmer Lewis, soprano, accompanied at the piano by St. Matthew's Director of Music, Rodney Ayers, will present a program called, "Our Favorite Things."  Their presentation will include beloved songs from the American songbook, musical theater, and spirituals. 

With a Master of Music degree from Yale and an Artist Diploma in Opera from the Hartt School of Music,  Ms. Lewis has won numerous musical honors and performed both in the United States and Europe. Locally, She and her husband Darin are scheduled to appear on March 19, 2014 at St. Paul’s on the Green in Norwalk at part of their noon recital series.


Ms. Lewis lives in Stamford with her husband, children Grace and Ben, and dog Lucy. She is currently the Soprano Section Leader at St. Francis Episcopal in North Stamford.

The luncheon meeting will be held in the St. Matthew's Church lounge from 12:00 p.m. -1:30 p.m.; a donation of $3.00 is customary.
