The Music on the Hill Summer Chorus, continuing an 11-year tradition of summertime choral classics, presents Felix Mendelssohn's Elijah with baritone Michael Costantino. Artistic Director Ellen Dickisnon conducts. One of Mendelssohn's two dramatic oratorios, Elijah includes the much-performed chorus "He Watching over Israel." The July 31st concert features a two-piano orchestration by Artistic Director David H. Connell to be played on Steinway grand pianos, one generously provided by Steinway Piano Gallery of Westport. Tickets: $20 at the door or reserve in advance at tickets@musiconthehillct.org. Learn more about Music on the Hill and its 2014 concert calendar at www.musiconthehillct.org.
