Weir Farm Artist-in-Residence: Tiffany Johnson & Brandon Cook

Thursday, Sept. 26 Weir Farm Artist-in-Residence Exhibition/Reception: Tiffany Johnson & Brandon Cook, 6 – 7:30 p.m.  September brings Tiffany Johnson and Brandon Cook to the Weir Farm Artist-in-Residence program. Ms. Johnson aims to broaden her range by observing her environments using oil painting to preserve the essence of a place in time - in this case, the grounds of Weir Farm.  Mr. Cook has always been drawn to and felt a deep connection with 19th century American landscape painters.  His passion is to understand and express that concept by creating paintings unique for our time.  See registration link for more details about the artist.  Co-sponsored by Weir Farm Art Center and Weir Farm National Historic Site and presented by Wilton Library. No charge. Registration suggested. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road, Wilton; www.wiltonlibrary.org; (203) 762-3950.
