ROAR Pet Adoption at Ambler Farm

The Kiwanis Club of Wilton and Ridgefield Operation for Animal Rescue (ROAR) will co-host an adoption event from 6:30 to 8pm Wednesday, April 28, at Ambler Farm in Wilton.

ROAR will be on hand with information about their rescue operation and will bring along dogs and cats available for adoption.  The public will have opportunity to meet and greet the animals, and to find out how get involved in the organization. Members of the Kiwanis Club of Wilton will also be present at the event.

The evening will be informative and fun. Potential adopters will have the chance to pet the dogs and cats at the event, to find out the stories of how they came to be at ROAR and in need of a home.  The shelter's director, Amy Bolotin, and president, Mary-Jo Duffy, and volunteer coordinator, Dorene Zurlo, will be onsite at the event.

As do most responsible shelters and rescues agencies in the area, ROAR works very hard to place each animal in the best home possible and to make sure that every person looking for a pet is matched with the dog or cat that best suits his or her lifestyle.

For more information, contact ROAR at 203-431-0158 or visit the shelter.
