Trackside Student Governing Board Informational Meeting

On Wednesday, September 7th, from 6pm to 7pm, Trackside Teen Center hosts an informational meeting for parents and teens who are looking for ways to be more involved in the community. Trackside’s Student Governing Board, better known as the SGB, is a group comprised of Middle School and High School students from Wilton. The Middle School SGB, for grades 6-8, works along with the staff at Trackside to create, organize and implement age appropriate events for their Middle School peers. The High School SGB, grades 9-12, does the same for their peers.  Members of the SGB are not only leaders in the Trackside community, but in all of Wilton, and are often called upon to serve in many different aspects.  As a member of the SGB, students develop strong social skills, aptitude in leadership, and an ability to work with others. It also looks great on resumes and college applications.

For more information on the SGB, come to the informational meeting on September 7th or email Brett Beatty at brett@trackside.org.
