WHS' Christine Merolla Skates for Haiti

Novice Ladies skating competitor Christine Merolla, a Wilton High School freshman who trains at Stamford Twin Rinks, will take part in a Haiti relief effort exhibition at the rink at 1:20 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20.

Merolla, who recently medaled at the 2009 State Games of America in Colorado Springs, performs her competitive short program to "Fantasy for Violin & Orchestra" from Ladies in Lavender, performed by Joshua Bell.

The fundraiser is organized in conjunction with Stamford-based AmeriCares and the Haitian American Catholic Center. Admissions fees and contributions will be donated in full to help the people of Haiti.
