Wine Tasting: Do more expensive wines taste better?

Are more expensive wines worth the cost? Do higher priced wines taste better?

JoAnn LoGiurato of Wilton, owner of Dancing on Grapes and a WSET certified wine specialist and educator, returns to the Wilton Historical Society for an evening featuring a blind taste test.

Ms. LoGiurato will lead guests through a series of tastings, comparing more expensive varieties with their more moderately priced counterparts.

Hearty hors d'oeuvres will be served with each course.

The evening begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Wilton Historical Society, 224 Danbury Road, Wilton.

The cost for the program is $75 for members, $80 for non-members.

Reservations are required and can be made online at www.wiltonhistorical.org or by calling 762-7257.
