Martin Luther King Day "What Are You Doing For Others?" Art Contest for Kids
Wilton Historical Society is not typically open on Mondays, but they will be open on Mon., Jan. 20 for Martin Luther King Day which is the last day of the Great Trains exhibit, and sponsoring a "What are you doing?" poster contest.
Monday, Jan. 290 is Martin Luther King Day and there is no school. The Wilton Historical Society is not usually open on Mondays, but will open on MLK Day, which is also the last day of the Great Trains Exhibit.
Scholastic is running a “Student Art Contest” which challenges kids in grades K-12 to submit a small poster interpreting MLK’s question to the world- “What are you doing for others?”
The Historical Society will provide all art supplies as well as the necessary paperwork to submit to the contest in which there is a chance to win a Samsung tablet and for artwork to be displayed at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Bookstore.
