Wilton resident Kevin Wall presented a five thousand dollar check as a donation to the Wilton Police Gift Fund, on behalf of the Arthur J. Wall Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund. The donation, presented on On Friday, Oct. 25, was accepted by Chief Michael Lombardo on behalf of the Wilton Police Gift Fund committee.
The Wilton Police Gift Fund is a tax deductible charitable fund established by the town in 1973. It is solely funded through private donations and its purpose is to assist Wilton Police Officers in times of hardship for unexpected expenses.
