Just in Time: Winter Internship Bootcamp for College Students
Local test prep company Carnegie Pollak is offering a 3.5-hour College to Career Bootcamp for college students this winter. Led by career expert and bestselling author Lindsey Pollak, the bootcamp will teach college-age students how to land a top summer internship or post-college job.
Designed for current college freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors, the course will help students build a 3-month action plan to integrate networking, internship or job applications, and follow-up into their busy college schedules.
Summer internships and post-college jobs are increasingly competitive. Often students are entrenched in the rigorous demands of college and are not sure where to start looking for a career-building position. The College to Career Bootcamp aims to alleviate that stress by giving students clear, achievable steps to reach their goals.
