Wilton Families Team up with Al's Angels in Bridgeport

On Saturday, pending snowstorm notwithstanding, several Wilton families teamed up with Al's Angels to make a difference for people in need.

The Abrahamsen family, the Partenza family, the LaBant family and the Wayland family all made a trip to Bridgeport on Saturday, Dec. 14 to a warehouse in Bridgeport to assemble holiday meals and wrap gifts for families in need.

Al's Angels, which is a featured GoFundMe project on Patch
(Al's Angels: Bringing Hope, Holidays to Needy Children) is a 501(c)3 charity that began in a Westport garage ten years ago.

The organization provides hope to children and families coping with cancer, rare blood diseases and natural disasters. Their projects include assembling holiday meals, and wrapping the over 6000 toys that Al’s Angels delivers to children in the tri state area.
