This Scarecrow Just Couldn't Wait

"It Can Wait" scarecrow has a message for you.

This is the second in Wilton Patch's series on 2013 Scarecrow Contest. Part one featured Dr. Seuss!

The Wilton Volunteer Ambulance Corps have put together an "It Can Wait" scarecrow.

With the help of Nancy Capelle, Robert Storck, Deborah Fialla and Shawn Iannacone, the ghostly driver-turned-scarecrow is perched in a tree at 234 Danbury Rd at the WVAC house on the hill and will be moving shortly to take up residence in Wilton Center.

Deborah Fialla, who is both a 25-year paramedic, currently with Norwalk Hospital, as well as an interior decorator, sourced the car door from Redding Fire Dept. It was from a donated car wreck that they otherwise use for training purposes.

What a clever scarecrow. I hope some people will see it and think twice before they text and drive.
