Wilton Sixth Grader Selected for Connecticut South All-Star Football Team

Austin Andersen of Wilton, a member of the Wilton Blue sixth grade football team, participated in the FBU sixth grade national football championship tourney as a linebacker and running back for the Connecticut South All-Star team.  Andersen was selected as the defensive field captain by the coaching staff.  The Connecticut South team was 1-1 in the tournament, falling to Long Island 24-6 but defeating New Jersey South 34-0 in games played at Don Bosco Prep High School in Ramsey, NJ this past weekend.
