Wow, been a couple weeks! Can't believe how time passes so quickly. Christmas is almost here, that's crazy!
So, I haven't written in a while, but I still think of at least one thing everyday that I'm grateful for. Usually i think more often about what I'm thankful for, but the past week or so, I've been doing the bare minimum.
Let me tell you... I've noticed a difference. My mood has suffered and I have less energy. Well, it's time to knock that off!
I want to be full of energy, light and happiness again. I want my old self back, so from now on, I'm going to be more aware of what is around me and what makes me happy.
For starters, I'm going to tell you THREE things I'm thankful for today...
Number 1- I am grateful for my mom and boyfriend. I am so happy to have their patience, support and kindness while I've been a little down.
Number 2- I'm thankful for my newfound courage. I have struggled with being stuck behind fear for my whole life, but I've been steadily working on conquering it for the past couple years.
On Monday I did something I haven't done since 2006 because I was too scared. It's something I've wanted to do for years, but I was frozen with fear and unable to do this thing.
Well... I did it! And I feel AWESOME! No matter the outcome, I pushed aside my fear and did what I'd wanted to for so long. (More on what I did soon).
And number 3-I'm grateful for my jacket! Simple, but so important. <--- these are the things that matter the most I think. The things we take for granted!
A lot of us in this area have a LOT more than most people and we don't stop to be grateful for what we have... A bed, shoes, a job, running water, etc.
