Garvin Roos Sr., of Wilton, Passed Away July 18

The following information is from Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk--

Garvin L Roos, Sr., 78, of Wilton, CT passed away on July 18, 2014. Garvin was born on May 10, 1936 in Norwalk. He was the son of the late Joseph and Eva 
Dziemianzuk Roos. He served as a quartermaster in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. 

Garvin is survived by his daughter, Lori Hoyt and her husband Robert, his daughter, Lynn Tucci and her husband John and several grandchildren.
Garvin was predeceased by his son, Garvin L. Roos, Jr. and his brother, Joseph H. 
Roos. 

Calling were held Thursday, July 24.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, July 25, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Avenue, Norwalk. Burial with full military honors will follow in St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk.
