Peter K. Warren, Former Pepsi Executive, Passes Away

Former Pepsi International CEO and PepsiCo Board Member Peter K. Warren passed away on Monday in Wilton at the age of 94.

According to his obituary, Mr. Warren was recognized by friends and business associates as a true beverage industry icon and global business leader. He began his career at Pepsi in 1950. He ran Pepsi's international business as CEO of International until retiring in 1985.

Mr. Warren grew up in New York City and enlisted in the army in World War II, serving as a Captain. 

Mr. Warren is survived by his wife Holly Wright, his children Peter and AJ Warren, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his his first wife Maria, who passed away in 1991, and his daughter Carmen who passed away recently after a 22-year battle with cancer.

Services will be held on Thursday, July 17 from 4:00 - 8:00pm at the Bouton Funeral Home, 31 W. Church St., Wilton, CT. The funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 229 Danbury Rd. on Friday, July 18 at 1:00pm. The burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, 110 North St., Ridgefield, CT.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Wilton Historical Society, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The National Breast Cancer Fund.
