PTA: "Thank You" for a Successful Winter Carnival

Money was raised and a good time was had by all this past Saturday at Wilton's annual Winter Carnival.

The Winter Carnival, held on March 10th, was a tremendous success. This annual PTA fundraiser is a favorite of children and parents, and is a wonderful way to enjoy family time while supporting our school. Carnival games, crafts, and delicious food all added to the festivities leaving attendees smiling and entertained.

The hard work of student and parent volunteers makes this event possible.   Thanks to our enthusiastic student volunteers from the Wilton Girl Scout Troops, Wilton High School Key Club, Top Inclusion Model Students, , National Honor Society and to name a few. They got sticky at cotton candy, fielded flying soccer balls, painted faces and everything in between. Parent volunteers were present at every booth to assure that children would have a chance to win games, create artwork and enjoy all the Carnival had to offer.

The Miller-Driscoll administration and teachers donated their time and talent, making the Winter Carnival a wonderful fundraiser to help bridge the gap between the Wilton Board of Education budget and the needs of the school. We would like to give a very special “Thank You” to the custodians, who dedicated many hours to the set-up, breakdown, and cleanup of the event. Their expertise, knowledge of the school and manpower got us through the day, and restored the school to its normal shape for classes Monday morning. We could not have done it without them.
