Summerstage & Summerstage jr Registration opens tomorrow!

Keep your kids busy when school ends and register for our Summerstage and Summerstage jr programs this summer.

This year registration is offered on-line only. Visit wiltonchildrenstheater.org, click on the “Register” tab and scroll down for all the details. Registration opens tomorrow and closes on April 18th.

The Summerstage program is a three-week musical theater workshop for Wilton students entering grades 7 through 10. Students are directed by a seasoned professional and supported by local emerging professionals who lead them through the process of theater production.

The Summer Stage cast explores the process of putting on a show, from acting to set painting, culminating with two performances. Parental participation is not required since the cast will be involved in all aspects of the production.

The Summerstage jr! program focuses on the teaching of stage presence, vocalization, and basic choreography for students entering grades 3 through 6.  The program runs from the end of school in June through early July, five mornings a week. 

A musical production is held for all cast members’ families on the last evening of the program.  Attendance at all rehearsals is mandatory for all participants. Contact Sue Alexander for questions at salexander@ovi.com.
