Accused Voyeur Granted Accelerated Rehabilitation

Former Redding resident George Christopher Teskey, accused of secretly filming four women while he had sex with them, could have his charge of voyeurism dismissed in two years.

On Oct. 5, a Danbury Superior Court judge granted Teskey's application for Accelerated Rehabilitation, which means if he complies with court-set conditions, his charge will be dismissed.

His next court date is Oct. 5, 2015.

The women in the case, described by their first names only, told investigators they did not give permission for Teskey to film them and the first they knew about the tapes was when police called them.

The tapes were discovered because Teskey left boxes in Redding with one of the victims when he moved to the Washington, D.C. area. When the boxes got wet, the woman eventually moved the contents and found a DVD with her initials on it. She watched it and saw it was a video of her and Teskey having sex. Fearing other tapes might exist, she visited Teskey in Washington, D.C., and discovered he had more tapes there. She also recognized the other women on the tapes. She called the other women and police.
