Burglary on Wilton Crest: Tiffany Jewelry, Sports Memorabilia Gone
Home advertised for sale, realtor's lockbox on door, missing items valued at $28K
A burglary occurred sometime between Sept. 24 and Sept. 26, 2013 while a homeowner on 7 Wilton crest was out of state.
Items taken include a pair of gold Tiffany cufflinks, a ring valued at $25,000, a ball point pen and baseballs autographed by Willie Mays, Duke Snider and Mickie Mantle. Also missing are Topps baseball cards for the same three players, according to Wilton Police.
There was no sign of forced entry, according to police, and the unit, which was advertised for sale, had a realtor's lock box outside.
