Wanderlei Soares, 34, of 126 Triangle St., Danbury turned himself in to Wilton Police on Oct. 5, 2013 after learning of an active arrest warrant.
A complaint was received from a resident in May 2013 that Soares had been paid $3,200 to perform carpentry work, but failed to do the work or return the money, according to Wilton Police. Soares was also found not to be licensed with the Dept. of Consumer Protection.
Soares was released on a Promise to Appear and has a date in court scheduled for Oct. 16, 2013.
