Two serious motor vehicle accidents and an alarming number of false alarms mark the week.

Monday, May 17, 2010

  • 11:00 AM: Ambler Lane, site inspection.  Inspection and approval of a site for authorized controlled burning.
  • 3:09 PM: Wilton Crest, medical emergency.  Firefighters provided patient care, and assisted EMS and paramedic.
  • 4:09 PM: Danbury Road, medical emergency.  Firefighters provided patient care, and assisted EMS and paramedic.
  • 9:40 PM: Danbury Road, medical emergency.  Firefighters provided patient care, and assisted EMS and paramedic.
  • 10:55 PM: Newtown Turnpike, medical emergency.  Firefighters provided patient care, and assisted EMS and paramedic.

Tuesday, May 18

  • 7:43 AM: Danbury Road, medical emergency.  Firefighters provided patient care, and assisted EMS and paramedic.
  • 8:46 AM: Bald Hill Road, medical emergency.  Firefighters provided patient care, and assisted EMS and paramedic.
  • 9:44 AM: Saddle Ridge Road, fire alarm.  Accidental activation of the alarm system, no fire or hazards present.
  • 12:05 PM: Belden Hill Road, fire alarm.  Accidental activation of the alarm system, no fire or hazards present.
  • 3:20 PM: Westport Road, motor vehicle accident.  Two-car rear end type accident.  Firefighters assisted with treating two injured parties.  FD personnel also contained and cleaned up a fluid spill.
  • 4:30 PM: Warncke Road, fire alarm.  Accidental activation of the alarm system, no fire or hazards present.

  • 11:47 AM: Chestnut Hill Road, motor vehicle accident.  Two-car T bone type accident. Firefighters assisted with treating two injured parties.  FD personnel also contained and cleaned up a fluid spill.

  • 1:15 PM: Danbury Road, medical emergency.  Firefighters provided patient care, and assisted EMS and paramedic.

  • 12:30 AM: Signal Hill Road, fire alarm.  Accidental activation of the alarm system, no fire or hazards present.
