What's with all this teenager anger in Wilton?

Children aren't being taught to respect their parents or anyone for that matter. As parents, it is OUR responsibility to teach our children what is acceptable and what is not. Why have children if you expect other people to raise them and think they'll turn out just fine? Just ridiculous.

I don't remember many kids getting arrested when I was at WHS in the 90's. There were definitely some criminal mischief, trespassing and DWI busts, but it seems like lately you have kids being arrested every few weeks. I'm not sure whether it is indicative of an overall societal decline, worse parenting, or better policing, but it is concerning nonetheless.

Why do they call the police on these kids? Handle it without wasting the time of the ploice department, you are the parent!

Come on guys....just teenage BS..like the pot smoking and all the other crap WPD keep themselves busy with when it comes to our kids. . In my day..my dad would have handled this, and the first time I pulled the kind of stunts listed above...would have been the last. But of course then we would be reading about the mom and dads being arrested. This parenting stuff is not that difficult..if you are pleased with the way YOU have turned out...then raise your kids exactly the way your parents raised you..even if that means a little tough love once in a while.
