Guns, Jewelry Totaling $16K Stolen from Wilton Home

The items were stolen on Thursday, Nov. 8.

Wilton Police are investigating a theft which occurred sometime between 6:30 a.m. and 6:50 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8 at a home on Village Court.

According to police, about $10,000 worth of jewelry was stolen, as well as five shotguns and rifles (each totaling $1,000) and one computer, valued at $1,000.

Access was entered through the rear door, police said. Currently there aren't any suspects, but the case remains under investigation.

On Saturday, Nov. 10 at 6:23 a.m., a Belden Hill Lane resident reported to police someone had thrown two Snapple bottles and a roll of toilet paper on their lawn. According to police, the resident has had similar complaints, and this criminal mischief might be ongoing by the same person.
