Man Attempts To Steal from Nun's Vehicle

Police caught up to the man and arrested him before he could get away.

 

Angelo Younger, 47, of North Carolina was arrested on Friday, Sept. 14 at 11:55 a.m. and charged with criminal trespass in the sixth degree, attempted larceny in the sixth degree, and attempted larceny from a motor vehicle, which is a felony.

According to police, the department received a report of a man attempting to break into a vehicle parked at School Sisters of Notre Dame. A nun noticed what was going on—it was her vehicle—confronted the man and then contacted police.

Younger had been arrested in June for stealing from a church in Greenwich.

Younger was held on $2,500 bond and taken to court.
