Man Trying To Change Flat Tire Gets Hit by Car

Wilton Police news, Dec. 29 and Dec. 30.

A Wilton woman was charged with traveling unreasonably fast after she allegedly crashed into a Wilton man who had stopped his car on Cheese Spring Road to change his tire on Dec. 29.

According to police, Kristin Bell, 18, of Ridgefield Road hit Jesse Seymour, 28, of Glen Hill Road, when he was behind his car while changing his tire. Police said Bell was unable to stop in time due to snowy road conditions.

Seymour was taken to Norwalk Hospital.

An 18-year-old Wilton female, who lives on Pond Road, was charged with disorderly conduct following an argument with her parents on Dec. 30 at 1:10 p.m.

According to police, the girl’s parents alleged she threw things at her mother and scratched her father’s face when she was trying to grab papers from his hand.

She was released on a promise to appear in court Dec. 31.

A husband and wife were both charged with disorderly conduct following a domestic incident at their Linden Tree Road residence on Dec. 30.

According to police, the 54-year-old man and 42-year-old female both alleged the other were throwing things around the residence. The wife alleged her husband was physical with her after the argument.

Both were released on promises to appear in court.
