Man, Woman Fight over TV Channel at Laundromat

No charges were filed because of the altercation.

Two customers at the Wilton Laundromat allegedly got into an argument over which television channel to watch while they waited for their laundry on March 13.

Police said a 66-year-old male allegedly grabbed a 35-year-old female’s arm while he was yelling at her. There were no witnesses, and the two accounts of the situation were conflicting.

No arrests were made, and the parties agree to leave each other alone.

Jeffrey Beckley, 30, of Danbury was turned over to the custody of Danbury Police following a motor vehicle stop in Wilton early Sunday morning, March 17.

According to police, an officer stopped Beckley around 3 a.m. for traveling 55 mph in a 40 mph zone. Upon investigation, it was determined a warrant was out for his arrest following a domestic violence incident in Danbury.
