A 43-year-old Milford man was charged with disorderly conduct, unlawful restraint and stalking after he showed up at his former girlfriend’s residence in Avalon Boy uninvited on Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 8:04 a.m.
Police said an officer arrived to the apartment complex on an unrelated call when a passing driver informed him a man and woman were having a verbal altercation in the parking lot. According to that driver, the man had his hands all over the woman and she kept telling him to leave, but he refused.
According to police, the officer found the man and woman and subsequently learned the man was uninvited and refused to leave. The man allegedly had his hands around her neck.
The man was held on a $5,000 bond and given an Oct. 15 court date.
