On Oct. 25, 2013 Wilton Police were notified of a case of identify theft.
A Wilton resident of Ridgefield Rd had gone to the bank to establish a bank account for her 16 year old daughter when bank officials informed her that the social security number had already been used to establish three different bank accounts at Bank of American going back to 1997, the year of the daughter's birth.
Wilton Police are investigating the case.
