Norwalk Man, 23, Rear Ends Wilton Police Cruiser

Danilo Grave, 23, of 125 South Main St. in Norwalk was charged by Wilton Police with Following to Close, DUI and driving without a license on Nov. 24 at 8:40p.m.

Grave, who was operating a 2000 Toyota Tundra, was traveling east on Wolfpit Rd and struck the back of a Police Cruiser that was stopped at a red light.

Upon investigating the motor vehicle accident, Grave, who had just left his place of employment in Wilton Center, was found to be intoxicated and driving without a license.

Though Grave's BAC was .07, which is under the .08 threshold for DUI, according to Wilton Police he failed field sobriety tests.

The police officer whose cruiser was rear ended by Grave complained of pain to his neck after the collision. 

Grave, who was released on a Promise to Appear, has a court date of Dec. 4, 2013.
