Norwalk Man Arrested for $4,100 Theft

Wilton Police served the warrant on Saturday.

Christopher Yarrell, 40, of Norwalk was arrested on Nov. 24 and charged with larceny in the third degree after he allegedly stole a safe containing approximately $4,100 in cash from Wilton Deli on Nov. 1, 2011. Police obtained an arrest warrant for Yarrell, which was executed on Saturday.

According to police, the safe weighed 140 pounds. Police believe Yarrell acted with an accomplice, and said they have another suspect.

Yarrell was held on $2,500 bond and given a Nov. 26 court date.
