Rabies Test Results Negative on Wilton Pit Bull

As many questions remain unanswered as to what led up to the vicious dog attack by a family pet pit bull on Anne Murray of 77 Range Rd on Monday, one possible correlation has been ruled out: rabies.

According to Lt. Donald Wakeman of Wilton Police, "the brain of the dog was tested for rabies and the results of that were negative."

The investigation continues and Patch will post updates as information becomes available.
