Second Suicide in Two Weeks at Ogden House

On Jan. 17 Wilton Police responded to 100 River Rd, Ogden House, to a report of a suicide at 11:13a.m.

According to Wilton Police Lt. Wakeman the victim was a woman, 86, who was discovered deceased in her bed with a plastic shopping bag over her face.

According to Wakeman miscellaneous pill containers were found in the bedroom. The time of death, according to Wakeman, could be anywhere from 24-48 hours prior to when the woman's body was found on Friday morning. Police are waiting for the Medical Examiner's office to to determine whether the medications had any role in the woman's death. 

Also, according to Wakeman, police see no connection between this death at Ogden House and the suicide on Jan. 9 of Robert Wiswall, and that suicides at senior facilities are very unusual.
