Three Women Given Marijuana Infraction Tickets

Police found three women to be in possession of marijuana last week.

Julia Armijo, 18, of Weston was issued an infraction for possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia (rolling papers) after a car she was in was stopped for motor vehicle violations on Mountain Road, near Danbury Road., on Thursday, Nov. 22 at 1:01 a.m.

Armijo was issued a $100 ticket with a Dec. 7 response date.

Alana Friedlander, 21, of Norwalk was issued an infraction for possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after police investigated a car parked in the rear parking lot at Rolling Hills Country Club on Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 1:14 a.m.

According to police, Friedlander said a plastic bag containing marijuana and a glass smoking pipe belonged to her.

Veronica Dexter, 50, of River Road was issued an infraction for possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after police received a report that a woman sitting on the curb of 11 River Road appeared “drunk.” The call came in on Monday, Nov. 19 at 9:45 p.m.

Police assisted Dexter to her home and found her to be in possession.
