Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest of Norwalk Man with Outstanding Warrants

At a traffic stop on Nov. 12 for an expired registration, Robert Schultz, 50, of 1 Carlson Ave in Norwalk, who was driving a Mazda Protege, was found to be wanted on two warrants for Failing to Appear at Norwalk Superior Court on two occasions, for motor vehicle charges. 

Schultz was also found to be driving with his license suspended, according to Wilton Police. Also, his vehicle bore plates belonging to a different vehicle. Schultz was charged with Failure to Appear 2nd degree and motor vehicle charges and taken into custody on a cumulative bond of $4,000.

Schultz is due to appear at Norwalk Superior Court on all charges on Nov. 21, 2013.
