Trumbull Brothers Arrested for June Burglary

Warrants were served while the men were in already in custody.

Two Trumbull brothers—Joshua and Nelson Rivera, age 19 and 21 respectively—were charged with burglary in the second degree and larceny in the sixth degree following their alleged roles in theft from a home on Valeview Road in June of this year.

According to police, the two men stole a wallet containing cash, credit cards and personal affects and two cell phones.

The two men are currently in custody in Connecticut’s Department of Corrections, and were served warrants for their arrest in Norwalk Superior Court on Monday, Nov. 19 at 10:30 a.m.

Michael Anderson, 22, of Stamford was charged with failure to appear in the second degree on Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 12:30 p.m.

According to police, Anderson was charged with for false registration charges and interfering with an officer in September 2011 and didn’t appear in court to answer them in July of this year.

He was held on $1,000 and was arraigned in court that day.
