Michael Ameer, 19, of Weston was charged with avoiding responsibility following a car accident in the parking lot of Caraluzzi’s on Feb. 14 at 5 p.m.
According to police, a witness caught Ameer’s license plate number, a description of the operator and the location of the damages on the vehicle. Police located him at his home.
Ameer was released on a promise to appear in court Feb. 22.
