Wilton Boy, 14, Punches Mother in Head

A 14-year old Wilton boy and his mother were involved in an argument which escalated into a physical confrontation on Oct. 26. Lt. Donald Wakeman reported that Wilton Police received a call from the mother that her son had attempted to force his way into a vehicle. The mother reported an argument had begun in the car after she'd picked up her son from Wilton Center and told him he couldn't go out later, according to Wakeman.

According to the police report the physical confrontation ended when the boy punched his mother in the back of the head with a closed fist, though she did not need medical attention, and, according to Wilton Police, the mother reported the boy left the residence, went to a friend's to "cool off."

The boy was not home when Wilton Police arrived but the police returned to the residence after the boy returned home. According to Wilton Police, no charges were filed but a follow up investigation would be conducted by the School Resource Office.
