On Sept. 21, 2013 Stephen Jones 55, of 3 Evergreen Ave., in Wilton was charged with disorderly conduct and unlawful restraint in the second degree.
Jones' children called the police to say that after an argument escalated, Jones held the victim, his wife, pinning her against a tree in the family's yard and would not let her leave, according to Captain John Lynch. According to police, the argument began when Jones' wife, 54, accused him of being intoxicated and did not want him driving.
Neither Jones nor his wife suffered any injuries. Jones was arraigned released on $25,000 bond and was arraigned in court on Monday, Sept. 23, 2013.
