Wilton Man Arrested Twice In Two Days

A 19-year-old Wilton man was arrested twice on unrelated charges in less than 24 hours, according to police.

A 19-year-old Wilton man was arrested on separate charges in unrelated incidents twice in two days, according to police.

Johnny Hernandez, of 20 Village Court, and two friends were allegedly spotted by witnesses firing a paint ball gun at street lights at about 8:15 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of 11 River Road.

The three left the area, but police had a description of the vehicle they were in and found it a while later in Wilton Center where they were arrested.

Hernandez and fellow Wilton residents Gil Heggland, 18, of of 18 Godfrey Place, and Alec Chiavow, 18, of 4 Village Court, were charged with breach of peace. Chiavow was additionally charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

How much pot Chiavow was allegedly carrying was not disclosed. All three were released on promises to appear in Norwalk Superior Court Aug. 6.

On Sunday, Hernandez was arrested again, this time on possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia charges of his own.

Hernandez and a friend, who was not charged, were allegedly spotted by witnesses at about 11:45 a.m. on the roof of 35 Danbury Road. When police arrived they discovered that Hernandez had less than half an ounce of pot on him and pipe.

He was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 6.
