Police Chief Lombardo Honored for Work on Behalf of Domestic Violence Victims

On Tuesday Wilton Police Chief Michael Lombardo was recognized by the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence during their “First 100 Plus” third annual breakfast and awards ceremony held at the Crowne Plaza in Cromwell. 

Chief Lombardo was part of the 2013 First 100 Plus class of men who were honored for their leadership and commitment to improve the lives of domestic violence victims.

Chief Lombardo received a Certificate of Special Recognition from Senator Richard Blumenthal for his “Outstanding Work on Behalf of Domestic Violence Victims”

Providing remarks at the ceremony was Governor Dannel P. Malloy, as well as Attorney General George Jepson.

Under the command of Chief Lombardo, Lt. Thomas Conlan is the Wilton Police Department Domestic Violence Coordinator, working in partnership with the Wilton Domestic Violence Task Force.
