Wilton Police Investigate Two Burglaries
Police also charged a Redding man with passing a stopped school bus.
On Friday, Nov. 2, Wilton Police received two reports from local businesses about burglaries that took place overnight.
According to police, Young's Nursery reported someone had broken a glass door to gain access from the business. A small sum of cash was removed from the cash register.
Rolling Hills Country Club reported someone had broken a glass door to gain access to a cash register in the snack shop, where a small cash sum was removed as well.

Paul Torrens, 37, of Redding was charged with passing a standing school bus and driving with a suspended license after a bus driver complained Torrens passed him on Danbury Road, near Crowne Pond Lane, on Oct. 24 at 2:51 p.m.
Torrens, who admitted the wrongdoing, was released on a promise to appear at a Nov. 5 court date.
