Wilton Police Seek Driver Who Fled Accident Scene
A driver, possibly in a black Lincoln Town Car with NY plates struck a Hyundai Santa Fe from behind in the right southbound lane at intersection of Rt. 7 and Grumman Hill Rd and fled.
On Oct. 1, 2013 Wilton Police responded to a motor vehicle accident where the driver of a Hyundai Santa Fe stated he was hit from behind in the right southbound lane at intersection of Rt. 7 and Grumman Hill Rd after the traffic signal turned green.
The complainant explained he attempted to signal the driver of the other vehicle driver to pull off the road to exchange information, but the driver fled. According to police, the complainant stated that the vehicle appeared to be a black Lincoln Town Car with NY plates and that the operator appeared to be a black male.
