Last week, two Wilton residents reported thefts of significant value after they both couldn’t find jewelry in their homes, police said.
On Oct. 19 at 4:11 p.m., a River Road resident reported that a pouch, containing between $40,000 and $50,000 worth of jewelry, was taken from their home. The resident lives at the Ogden House.
On Oct. 20 at 9:46 a.m., a Heather Lane resident reported approximately $9,700 worth of jewelry was taken from their home sometime within the last two or three weeks.
Both cases remain under investigation.
