The Wilton Police Department’s newest addition to the force, Enzo the K9, helped police apprehend two young men who were in possession of "meth amphetamine salts” and marijuana after a motor vehicle was stopped on Danbury Road, near Wolfpit Road, for not having its headlights lit on Friday, Nov. 23 at 6:10 p.m.
Quentin Rigby, 18, of Newtown Turnpike was charged with possession of a controlled substance and retention of an original drug container after Enzo helped police find a 15 mg capsule of "meth amphetamine salts," which was stored in a drug container for something else.
Zachariah Olmstead, 21, of Newtown, was issued an infraction for possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Rigby was released on a promise to appear in court on Dec. 3.
