Wilton Teen Charged with Keying Car

He allegedly carved a curse word into someone else's vehicle at the high school.

John Luse, 18, of Raymond Lane was charged with criminal mischief in the second degree after he allegedly keyed the f-word into a car parked at Wilton High School in December 2012. Luse at first denied doing it, but eventually admitted it.

He was released on a promise to appear in court Jan. 28.

Connor Elliott, 18, of Ridgefield was issued a $150 infraction ticket for possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop on Ridgefield Road, near Center Street, on Jan. 16 at 7 p.m.

According to police, the car was stopped for having a defective taillight. Officers then detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, and Elliott, a passenger in the vehicle, voluntarily turned over a small plastic bag containing marijuana.
