Marie Levy, formerly of Wilton and with no known current address, told police that she was moving her Volvo stationwagon from the south employee parking lot to the main parking lot when she turned right and failed to stop when parking in a space near the Wahoo guard shack building. Police said that when Levy accelerated her vehicle, it went through a fence and into the north corner of the guard shack building. The crash caused significant damage to the building, including a men's room sink, which was knocked off the wall and was leaking water.
Levy was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. According to Captain Lynch, her blood alcohol level was recorded at 0.122. She posted a $500 bond and is due in on August 13.
