Woman With Dementia Threatens To Shoot Nurse

Wilton Police news, Nov. 28 through Dec. 1.

 

Police responded to Wilton Meadows after receiving a phone call from a woman claiming she was a visitor there, had a gun, and was going to shoot a nurse. Upon investigation, police determined the woman was a dementia patient at the nursing home. The incident was reported on Nov. 29 at 11:23 a.m.

A Grumman Hill Road resident reported to police on Dec. 1 that 60 feet of copper gutters were removed from his residence sometime overnight on Friday, Nov. 30. The gutters cost approximately $600.

A Clover Drive resident reported to police on Nov. 29 that a contractor had been paid $9,360 in April to perform cabinetwork at their home, and the work had not yet been completed. Police said the two parties are going to trying to resolve the issue themselves.

On Nov. 28, a man reported an $8,000 wood chipper parked behind 388 Danbury Road had been taken sometime between the previous Wednesday evening and Friday morning.
